Called M1 service to check whether my phone contract has ended

BUGGER: ya...it's already finished you can upgrade or terminate it anytime
ME: This is signed up by my dad previously, so do I really have to ask him to terminate it himself?
BUGGER: Ya..Because he's the one who signed up, so he have to personally call in and terminate it
ME: ok..problem is this...My dad is not in town and we can't even contact him and we don't even know when he will be back, so how is he going to terminate it? Is there other alternative way?

Went in and did all the necessary stuff and I was so delighted when my mum said she wanted to go Vivo to take a look and at the same time, go to Starhub to get a new line under student plan and get me the phone I want..
I was like..."wow...2000 free sms every month throughout the two years...yes ar!"
Plus, their call charges depends on how minutes and seconds, not like M1, even if my call duration is just 20 seconds, they still charge it as 1 minute
Took my mum there as she doesn't know how to get there, it's her first time though
Then my mum suddenly had this idea in mind
She asked me to wait till M1 reply my mail and confirm that my line is terminated then I can sign up for Starhub line because what if they still doesn't approve, she will have to pay that line for nothing every month
Plus, the colour available for K810i is only gold and not dark blue
